Those are the particulars as filed, and they are reproduced here in the form they are held in rather than rewritten. The company number and the D-U-N-S number appear in the footer of every page of this site for the same reason: a reader who wants to check a claim should not have to look for the means of checking it.

What a registered office is, and what it is for

A registered office is the address at which a company accepts formal correspondence and at which the public record says it may be found. It is a legal address, and that is the whole of its job.

Survey work happens on the property being surveyed, which is why a frontage on the coast and an address in a street are different things and are kept apart on this site. Written enquiries are answered from the address on this page, and arrangements to attend a property are made in writing before anyone attends it.

Correspondence that needs to reach this company reliably should be sent to enquiries@aquavail.work, which is the only address this site carries and the one read by the office.

Why the work is set on this stretch of coast

Christchurch sits where two rivers meet a harbour and the harbour meets the sea, which produces, within a few miles, almost every condition a coastal survey has to deal with: a sheltered quay wall, a tidal channel, an exposed shingle frontage and a cliff with a path along the top of it.

Those four behave differently through a tide and fail differently over years, and a surveyor who works them in the same fortnight gets to compare them against each other rather than against memory. The observation points, the levels and the extents on this site are described in the terms that stretch of coast demands, because those are the terms the work is actually carried out in.

The practical consequence for an owner is that the window matters as much as the day. A survey here is arranged around tides and weather first and around diaries second, and the written programme says which is which.
